The Best Recycled Jewellery Brands

For longer than I can remember I have been saying that I need to treat myself to some new jewellery that I can wear everyday. Jewellery has the power to elevate any outfit and make you look more put together. I think that’s what I’m missing. It instantly makes you look as though you have made more effort. For me it’s also important that I try and be mindful of sustainability when it comes to what I buy. With that in mind I have been taking a look at what I believe to be the best recycled jewellery brands.

The Best Recycled Jewellery Brands

Daisy London

All of Daisy London‘s jewellery is made from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver and they use high quality gold plating. The brand works in keeping with the Responsible Jewellery Council’s guidelines using trusted, family-owned factories in Italy and Thailand. They pack the jewellery in recyclable packaging that is made from FSC certified materials. It is also great to see that the jewellery is made to last so each piece comes with a six month warranty as standard.

The pieces in this post are part of the Together By Estée Lalonde collection. The 22 piece collection has been inspired by contemporary sculpture and has been handcrafted from 100% recycled silver with 18ct gold-plate. This post features the Estée Lalonde Tight Curb Chain Necklace 18ct Gold Plate and the Estée Lalonde Box Chain Bracelet 18ct Gold Plate which are both absolutely beautiful

Astrid & Miyu

Astrid & Miyu’s sterling silver recycled jewellery collection features staple pieces (you guessed it) made from recycled sterling silver. The brand has also launched the Astrid & Renew Recycling Programme so that no jewellery goes to waste. All customers have to do is post the jewellery back or return via the Shoreditch Boxpark store. Astrid & Miyu then send off the jewellery to be recycled and in turn you get 1000 loyalty points to be spent online or in store.

Monica Vinader

Monica Vinader only use 100% recycled gold vermeil and sterling silver. All of the brand’s workshops are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council. It’s also great to see that their boxes and bags are fully recyclable and they only use FSC paper.

Orelia

The Orelia Recycled range is a sustainable jewellery collection. The base metal is made from 100% recycled silver which has been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. It also featured 18k gold plating.

Laura Lombardi

Brooklyn-based designer Laura Lombardi creates handcrafted pieces made from a mix of new, recycled and reclaimed metals that she finds.
