Designer Dupes From Hidden Fashion

Hidden Fashion has been popping up on my Instagram and Twitter feeds for a little while now but I had never bought from them. When an emailed dropped in my inbox asking if I would like to choose a couple of pairs of boots, of course I said yes.

Hidden Fashion

Once I started browsing the website I immediately noticed that several of the boots featured a striking resemblance to some designer styles I’d seen. I’ve picked out a couple of my favourites along with showing you the two pairs that I chose for myself.

White Faux Leather Wrap Over Boot With Stud & Floral Detail

Straight away these boots made me think of the Gucci Fosca Appliqued Embellished Textured Leather Ankle Boots. The Hidden Fashion floral boots were my first choice particularly as I’d seen the Gucci version and loved them. When they arrived I was immediately struck by how soft they felt. Quite often faux leather can feel quite rigid. The Hidden Fashion boots of course only feature similarities of the Gucci boots and aren’t a direct copy.

I love the western style of these boots and the contrast between the studs and pretty floral detailing. They are actually incredibly comfortable to wear and I feel like I could walk around in them all day. I intend on pairing them with jeans and a tee to dress up my everyday style.

Black Knit Sock Fit Stretch Barely There Stiletto Boots

The Barely There Stiletto Sock Boots definitely give off vibes of the incredibly popular Balenciaga Knife Boots. They obviously aren’t as pointed and the heel isn’t as high, but that makes them way more comfortable. I have seen quite a lot of people bring up the fact that because the Balenciaga Knife Boots have such a pointed toe it makes them very easy to scuff and I know people have then had them ladder.

The Hidden Fashion boots are a great alternative and look like they will be much more durable.

Black Suede Ankle Boot With Diamante

The diamante buckles on these boots instantly make me think of the embellishment on the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps – think of the pair Carrie Bradshaw wore when she married Big. Manolo did produce a Hangisi ankle boot in suede with two fixed satin straps.

The Hidden Fashion ankle boots are faux suede and add a bit of sparkle to your outfit. Again they are very comfortable which I find surprising given the affordable price. These boots are perfect for dressing up any outfit but I think I will be wearing them with my leather look trousers.

Flat Black Suede Buckle Ankle Boots

If these boots don’t make you think of the Chloe Susanna boots then I don’t know what to tell you. This style is extremely popular because they are so versatile in how they can be styled. Unfortunately the Susanna comes with a hefty price tag so these ankle boots from Hidden Fashion are a brilliant option.

I actually own a similar pair and they are my go to boots because they are so easy to style. They look equally as good with dresses as they do with jeans. I love to pair a pretty tea dress with boots like this as the silver buckles and stud detailing create a great contrast with the feminine look of the dress.

I’m very impressed with the quality of the Hidden Fashion boots, especially given the price point. I often find with more affordable styles that there is a compromise with comfort but this definitely isn’t the case. Personally I don’t have a problem with designer dupes as I think they’re a great way to test out a new look without spending a fortune. What do you think?
