I can’t be the only one that feels like those three or four days of lovely weather are all the summer we’re getting. The second we started thinking about our summer wardrobes, the second we were back to scarves and knitwear. This is the beauty of cashmere. I think a lot of people assume that you can only wear it in the autumn and winter months. That isn’t true at all. The fact cashmere is lightweight means that you can wear it throughout spring and summer too.

I love N.Peal. It is THE go to place for luxurious cashmere. Their Spring Collection features pieces in varying thicknesses so you’re the perfect temperature whatever the weather. On those colder days and evenings there is chunky basketweave and cardigan stitch and for warmer days there is pointelle and lightweight superfine cashmere. As you would expect there are pretty pastel shades, but also classic navy and a rich coral pink.
I thought I would select a few of my favourite pieces from collection and give you some ideas of how I would style them.
Round Neck Cashmere Sweater
I think that a Cashmere sweater has to be a wardrobe staple. Knitted from 100% Mongolian Cashmere this round neck sweater is luxuriously soft with a neat trim finishing. I live in jeans so this sweater would be perfect to throw on with a pair. It would also look great with leather trousers when the weather is a bit colder. White linen trousers (if you don’t spill like me) or a pencil skirt are great for a more summery look.
Pointelle Knit Ruffle Cashmere Top
I love how pretty this sleeveless ruffle top is. The pointelle stitching to the back makes a great striking detail. It is easy to dress up or down with a skirt or I would personally style it with wide leg trousers.
Off Shoulder Cable Knit Cashmere Jumper
Off the shoulder is always incredibly popular as a spring/ summer look so why not combine that with Cashmere. This textured knit has a cable knit front with cardigan stitch sleeves and a deep ribbed collar. It would look equally as good with a skirt as it would trousers!
Tie Sleeve Cashmere Jumper
This 100% Mongolian Cashmere jumper is the perfect statement piece and it’s incredibly Instagramable! It has a relaxed fit but features dropped shoulders and tie details near the wrists for a beautiful statement bell shaped sleeve. The rich coral shade is ideal for spring!
If I had to pick a favourite it would be between the round neck sweater because it is such a classic and the tie sleeve jumper as it just makes such a statement! Which would you go for?
