Rainbow stripe knits have been a bit of a trend the past few years and that only seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I think spring is the perfect season to inject colour into your wardrobe and these jumpers do just that. Statement stripes in a range of vibrant hues are guaranteed to improve your mood and that’s exactly what we need after it feels like winter has dragged on for an age.

The Rainbow Stripe Knit
It’s not often I browse online unless there is something I specifically want. I find I spend much less money that way as you can guarantee I will spot something I *need*. Having decided to take a little look at the new in section on New Look’s website, this little cropped jumper immediately grabbed my attention.
I ordered it there and then and it’s just as well I did because it sold out straight away. To be honest I wouldn’t normally go for a cropped jumper. I’m not keen on bits of me being exposed. I figured I have quite a short body so it might not be too cropped on me anyway. Unfortunately I was wrong as it is pretty short but I loved the jumper so I really didn’t want to return it. I decided I would pair it with high-waisted jeans (which I’ve never been a fan of) and a long black vest. Tucking the vest in gave a more streamlined look and I think it works quite well.
Of course my red boots made yet another appearance (are you sick of them yet?). They just look so good with the touch of red in the knit. The jumper would also suit a pair of light wash jeans and trainers for more of a casual look. What do you think?
Shop The Look
As I said before this jumper sold out super fast so I haven’t added it to the ‘shop the look’ section. I think it would be unfair to include a link to an item no longer available. However, I’ve found a few knits with a rainbow stripe in case you’re looking to add to your wardrobe.
