I feel like I own a few more coats than a person actually needs. I am always spotting outerwear that I love and I think half the problem is that I tend to go for bold, statement pieces. This means that some of the coats only go with a limited amount of things. I thought that I would share my coat collection with you now that we have hit December. I feel like you can get away with spending a little more on outerwear because when you are walking around it is the only think that people see. You also want to stay warm and are potentially wearing your coat every day for six months of the year.
My Coat Collection
This post is only going to feature coats. If I were to include leather jackets, bomber jackets and gilets it would turn into a stupidly long post.

Zara Plaid Coat
I think this coat is from 2014. When it came out it sold out really quickly so I actually bought mine brand new from eBay because I absolutely had to have it. I can’t remember how much it cost me as it was long ago. This coat is the only item I have ever had from Zara. I love the print but that means it doesn’t go with too much in my wardrobe. I prefer to wear it with blue jeans, a white tee, heels and a pop of red lipstick. The bad thing about this coat is that it doesn’t do up so it isn’t great on days that are really chilly and it doesn’t have real pockets.
Topshop Double Breasted Camel Coat
I bought this coat last year but Topshop tend to bring out different variations each year. I feel like this is more of a classic piece and the neutral shade means that I can get a lot more wear out of it. I actually think that this was my most worn coat last winter. My favourite thing about it has to be the massive pockets. I wore this coat to an event recently and I could carry my iPhone 7 Plus in one pocket and my vlogging camera in the other. It freed up so much space in my bag and meant I had my phone and camera to hand.
Ted Baker Magenta Wool Coat
I must have had this coat at least five years now. It is my smartest coat which makes it perfect for events. I love how you can wear it in two different ways. The colour is beautiful and the length is good, I hate it if you wear a dress and can see it poking out under your coat. Ted Baker have bought out a similar version for this year which looks lovely.
Karen Millen Patchwork Faux Fur Coat
I saw this coat in the Karen Millen sale last year and I absolutely had to have it. I was sold out on the website but Karen Millen have such amazing customer service that they tracked it down in two stores in the country. I then had it sent to my house from the Birmingham store. This is a serious statement piece and I think you either love it or you hate it.
New Look Pink Coat
This pink number from New Look is the latest in my coat collection. I saw it in the summer reduced to £18 and I couldn’t say no. I did spot it at the end of last winter but missed out on picking it up. It is quite over-sized so it will be great for layering underneath when the weather gets really cold.
I love this coats collection! The pattern is just looks so rich how to styled this looks using this different coats! That zara plaid coats are so cute, these outfits are really a great collection. I want this pink coat.
