When an invitation to a diamond night lands in my inbox there is no way I’m going to turn it down, especially when it is at Winsor Bishop. In case you don’t know Winsor Bishop are an independent jewellers on Trinity Street in Cambridge (and London Street in Norwich). You can read more on Winsor Bishop in my previous post all about them.
The diamond night was to launch their latest collection called London Ice. The store always know how to put on a luxury filled event. From the Champagne and canapes to the most amazing Michael Buble-esque singer, everything was spot on. I love that you are encouraged to try jewellery on to really get a feel of it. I went along with Alice (The Middle Sister) and we had such a great night. It was so much fun and we said it was one of the best events we have been to!
London Ice has been created by their in-house design team. The collection features Winsor Bishop’s signature golden circles, kissed by white diamonds, flowing within 18ct white gold. The limited edition range includes a 18ct White Gold 18inch And 16inch Diamond Necklace, 18ct White Gold Diamond 0.42ct Bracelet and 18ct White Gold Diamond 0.68ct Circular Drop Chain Earrings.
The beauty of this collection is that it can be worn in a variety of ways. You can wear the 16 inch necklace on its own or layer it up with the 18 inch necklace. If your outfit has a plunging neckline or open back you can extend the necklace using the bracelet as each piece has a T-bar fastening.
I normally go for pieces that are quite chunky and more statement but I actually really like this collection. The pieces are delicate and stylish but they make a statement in a different way. Something doesn’t have to be in your face to catch your eye.
Make A Wish
Winsor Bishop have a Christmas tradition to make someone’s special wish come true and in doing so, also raise funds for the fantastic work done by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. To enter the #makeawish campaign all you need to do is choose your dream item and then fill out one of the #makeawish cards in store. There is even a festive post box for you to pop it in. Alternatively you can search online and when you’ve made your choice just follow the link to make your wish!
The winner will be selected at random and announced on Christmas Eve.
Make sure that you pop in before Christmas whether you are looking to treat yourself or someone special.
