The Trends I Will Be Wearing This Season

I love checking out all of the latest trends but rather than blindly follow them I prefer to adapt them to suit my style. I’ve put together some of the trends I love that I’ve taken inspiration from for this seasons wardrobe.

The Trends I’m Trying

Red

I absolutely love the top to toe red look. I think it really makes a statement and looks so chic. I’ve lost count of the amount of red jumpers and dresses I’ve tried on but I’ve come to realise that I haven’t found the right shade to suit my skin tone. In the mean time I’m adding red accessories to my wardrobe and wearing them with a slick of red lipstick.

Slogans

I’ve wanted a slogan t-shirt for months and I’ve spent all this time looking for the perfect one. Many brands have their logo plastered on while others choose a phrase. While I love the designer versions I don’t really have a few hundred to spend on a t-shirt, so I will be looking to the high street instead.

Florals

Florals aren’t just for spring. I wore a floral dress for the first time this summer and I was actually surprised how comfortable I felt wearing it. This season I’m going for floral tea dresses and midi dresses in navy and rich autumnal shades.

Pink

The pink obsession shows no sign of going anywhere and I’m actually glad about that. Last year I really wanted a pink coat and regret not buying one. I saw this pink one in the New Look sale over the summer and couldn’t resist picking it up for £18.

Sweater and Skirt

I’m definitely going to embrace wearing skirts this season. Chunky knits look great paired with both leather mini skirts and pleated midi skirts so I’m going to give wearing both styles a go. I think my wardrobe is also missing some cashmere!

Are there any trends you think I should embrace? I have a post on sock boots coming soon!
