Is Dune The Place To Go For High Quality Designer Dupes?

I love designer and high end high street and now I feel like I can combine the two. Obviously I don’t have endless amounts of money to spend on shopping trips so designer isn’t often an option. When it comes to footwear, quality is very important to me. After all we are on our feet all day so we should be treating them well. I feel like you get what you pay for and while cheap shoes are great for my bank balance they tend to make my poor feet suffer. High end high street stores like Dune have great designs and don’t cause me pain.

I actually can’t remember the last time I bought a new pair of shoes and at the moment I don’t really need a new pair. I hate buying things for the sake of it but there is nothing wrong with a bit of window shopping.

Dune and designer dupes

Over the weekend I was doing a spot of online window shopping checking out beautiful pairs of shoes. The first site I visited was Dune. I haven’t shopped there in several years so I’m not really sure what made me check them out.

I specifically looked at heels and loafers on the stores site. I’m a massive heel lover but I have been thinking about getting a pair of loafers for day wear. While I was on the site I kept coming across shoes that gave me serious designer vibes. I would just like to say the store is not copying designer brands, there are just some similarities between a few of their pieces and high end styles.

When it somes to designer dupes they are often quite low quality which I have found in the past. My Chanel dupes (now I remember they were the last pair of shoes I bought) look great but they rub the top of my feet. Dune is well known for being a high quality brand and I feel like their shoes would treat my feet with a little more respect.

I’ve put together three pairs of my favourite Dune shoes that resemble designer pieces so you can see what I mean.

I do not agree with fakes or pieces pretending to be designer when they aren’t but this is not what Dune are doing. These shoes may or may not have taken inspiration from designer shoes. Either way if you are looking from high quality shoes that have the designer look then I strongly suggest you head to their store.
