Festival Outfit Essentials is a sponsored post in collaboration with Manière De Voir.
Half the fun of going to festivals is deciding what you’re going to wear. After forking out for your ticket you’re less keen to splash the cash on a whole new wardrobe when it is just for a couple of days. With this in mind I have put together a list of festival outfit essentials and selected pieces from the Manière De Voir summer sale so you get a new look that hasn’t cost you the earth.
Festival Outfit Essentials
You’re going to be outside all day so a statement pair of sunglasses are an absolute must have. Tortoiseshell rims are still incredibly popular and I love how that contrasts with the simple gold of these St Tropez sunglasses.
Crochet and mesh
Crochet has always been a favourite of festival goers but now mesh has been popping up more and more. Pieces are light so they don’t take up much space in your bag yet they bring a lot to your outfit. Giving a peek of layers underneath to add interest to your look with the mesh flared sleeve cropped top.
Festivals are known for their unpredictable weather. Whether its rainy days or chilly evenings you need to throw on outerwear that won’t ruin your outfit. There’s no need to compromise between fashion and function with a bomber jacket like this camoflage style.
It isn’t just about little lacy numbers, sports bra style bralettes are equally as cool. Comfortable to wear, they also look great with a relaxed pair of denim shorts.
Bodysuits are one of my favourite pieces of clothing. Tucking tops into your jeans often leaves an unflattering amount of material hanging out, or adds bulk to your outfit. Bodysuits give a lovely smooth finish. I love the addition of mesh panelling on this nude version.
Denim shorts aren’t just a festival must have, they’re a summer staple. Ditch the blue denim and go for an all black look. Rips and a lace up front add detail to this high waisted pair.
Aside from sequins and glitter, what are your festival fashion essentials?
