This Week I’m Loving….

I’ve been debating whether to start a little series on the blog of things I have been loving from the previous week. I always think it’s nice to look for the positives so I’m going to share with you favourite products, blog posts and even places I have been. Let me know what you think and if you can think of a better name for the title!

This Weeks….

Beauty Product

My product of the week has to be the Skinny Tan Limited Edition Rose Gold Tanner which I reviewed in Friday’s post. I think it will be my go to tan for the coming weeks.

Store

This is more of an online store but I recently placed an order with Shein. There is a huge range of clothing, shoes and accessories at very low prices. While I’m always a little wary of things that seem too cheap (ethically speaking) there are times when your bank balance doesn’t allow for much else. Shein is actually great for dupes and I picked up a great pair of Chanel dupes (coming to a blog post near you). I will say that you do have to wait a good 7-10 days for delivery so it’s not great if you want things in a hurry.

Place

I met Ally for a catch up in Nancy’s Teashop in Newmarket. I’ve only been there a couple of times. It is so pretty (read Instagramable) and they have just expanded to create an afternoon tea lounge! I will definitely be going back, their afternoon teas are delicious!

Blog Post

One of my favourite posts I’ve read this week is from the lovely Sophie Kate. Her post features the new Pinita Colade range from Body Shop. I haven’t used their products in years but I am a big Pina Colada fan. This range sounds right up my street so I shal be popping into the store to pick up a few pieces. Make sure you check out Sophie’s post!

Outfit

I went to a friends 30th birthday party on Saturday night and I was actually really happy with my outfit. I wore a dress from the collection that Victoria Beckham did for Target. Luckily I came across it on eBay while I was randomly browsing. I wouldn’t normally go for this style. It was surprisingly flattering and the fact it doesn’t cling means you can eat to your hearts content. Irritatingly I don’t have a photo of me wearing it but I have found a product image. I believe the collection sold out incredibly quickly.

I’d love to know if you write a similar weekly round up so feel free to send me your links!

I’m trying to more ethical in my fashion choices too. It’s tough though when so must fast fashion is flung at us.

I hate it and generally avoid places like Primark. I’m finding it hard at the moment being self employed and not having a regular wage. I’m having to compromise a bit more.

Oh I love this series, great idea! And I am obsessed with VB x Target. I got the skirt version but wish I’d bought the dress too!

I recently order from SheIn I was able to get a few work blouses for super cheat. The wait time however for the U.S. is super long. I waited almost 3 weeks to get my items. Kind of forgot I order them.
