Creating My Holiday Wardrobe for SS17

Creating my holiday wardrobe is a sponsored post in collaboration with OD’s Designer Clothing.

I have no idea whether I am going to be able to get away for a holiday this year but that won’t stop me putting together a holiday wardrobe; even if I just end up on a staycation. It can’t just be me that dreams of having the perfect holiday wardrobe so that when you are away each outfit looks just as stylish and glamorous as the next.

My Holiday Wardrobe

I have been checking out the OD’s Designer Clothing website picking out my dream pieces. By now everyone should know my love of high end clothing and accessories. I much prefer to spend my money on higher quality pieces that will last longer. I have spotted so many pieces to go in my wardrobe and have picked out some of my favourites for you.

Rebecca Rhoades Playsuit.

Possibly the best playsuit I have ever seen, not just because the sleeves are so on trend but also because it has a flamingo print which is absolutely perfect. I would get so much wear out of this. You could throw it on as a beach cover up or pair with some heels for dinner and drinks.

Cluse Watch in Rose Gold

It goes without saying that every blogger loves rose gold. The watch has a simple yet stylish design while the mesh style strap gives it a little something extra. I don’t just need this for my holiday wardrobe, I want it all year round.

Rebecca Rhoades Top

I know I have chosen a top in exactly the same print as the playsuit, but that’s just how much I love it! It will look great with denim cutoffs and also go perfectly with the next item on my list.

Armani Jeans

For someone like me who lives in jeans, white jeans are a must have in summer. They let me embrace my everyday style but give my outfits a bright, fresh overhaul.

Rebecca Rhoades Skirt

This maxi skirt is perfect for throwing on with a simple white vest and making your way down to the beach. If you look closely you will see that it actually has zebras incorporated into the print. I can actually picture myself strolling around a market wearing this with my wide brimmed hat and basket bag.

Love Moschino Espadrilles

Espadrilles are definitely a summer essential particularly if you hate flip flops with a passion. As far as I’m concerned flip flops are only for the beach so these espadrilles are ideal for casual wear.

Vivienne Westwood Sunglasses

I 100% need these sunglasses in my life. The oversized style is spot on and the tortoiseshell effect frames are ultra glamorous.

Nu Vest and matching trousers

I am always looking for something a bit different that you are unlikely to come across someone else wearing. This monochrome outfit can be worn together to make a real statement or paired with other pieces for a more casual look.

Ted Baker Dress

This pretty lace dress just screams summer. The style actually reminds me of the Self Portrait dresses. Apart from holiday wear, it would be perfect for any special occasion like a wedding or christening.

Lavish Alice Jacket

Aside from looking great over a vest and jeans I would also try and get away with wearing the jacket as a top and pair it with the cream trousers below it. Cut out shoulders are still so popular and the belt ensures you can cinch in the waist for a flattering silhouette.

Rebecca Rhoades Trousers

The trousers feature a high waist and flared fit which I always find makes your legs look lovely and long – completely necessary when you arent’ exactly blessed with height like me. I owned a pair of flared jeans years ago and absolutely loved them but then skinny jeans took over. Flares are back so I’m looking to get my hands on a pair.

Ted Baker ‘Michala’ Clutch Bag

How pretty is this cute little clutch? I would actually use this for day and evening wear as it has a handy detachable strap. It snaps shut and has interior zip pockets for your essentials.

Ted Baker Stilettos

These stilettos are the perfect finishing touch to an outfit. They will look great with so many of these pieces like the white jeans, flared trousers and lace dress.

Ted Baker ‘Inez’ Gem Gardens Travel Bag

The travel bag is ideal for an overnight stay or even for holding your essentials as hand luggage. If you are someone who regularly goes away then it would be a good investment.

Are you going on holiday this year? I would love to know what you would pick for your holiday wardrobe.
