I think we can safely say that everyone knows about my love of jeans. I’ve talked all about them in How To Find Your Personal Style and Analysing My Most Worn Look. But what about those times where you want to dress up your everyday look a bit but still want to be comfortable.
I have put together some ideas for how you can dress up your everyday look and how I will be dressing up my style using these jeans gifted to me by Natty Me
Top Tips For Dressing Up Your Everyday Look
How many times have you planned drinks or dinner with friends and decided to wear ‘jeans and a nice top’? Does anyone ever actually find the ‘nice top’? My go to top has always been a shirt so I have stuck with my style but switched up a few items to smarten my look up a little.
Embellished Jeans
My wardrobe staple is still jeans, particularly while the weather is still so unpredictable. How many of you have gone out without a jacket and regretted it or taken a jacket and felt like you are roasting? An easy way to dress up my look is to switch my everyday jeans for an embellished pair. I am loving all kinds of jeans at the moment from ripped and distressed to embroidered and dark wash that look really smart. One thing I have never tried is embellished jeans. I think that I have always been worried that the stones will come off or that they will look cheap. This isn’t the case with these jeans as I actually really like the look of the gems. They also feel very securely attached to the super soft denim. The fit is also spot on, like they were made from me.
Accessorise
I am awful at accessorising. While I love jewellery I generally forget to put any on and just live in the same earrings everyday. The right necklace or pair of statement earrings really can elevate your look and give a more polished finish. I went with earrings for this outfit as a necklace was a bit too much when the focus should be on the jeans. You don’t want each element of your outfit to be fighting for attention.
Add Heels
I am the biggest heel fan so I don’t need any convincing to wear a pair. Generally it is heeled boots of black stilettos. Now we are in to spring I am embracing colour a bit more with these pale blue suede effect courts from New Look.
About The Jeans
As I said at the top of the post, the jeans are by Natty Me and they were very kindly gifted to me. They were made in Italy and the gem embellishment has been handstitched on. If you fancy getting your hands on a pair they are available from sizes 8-16 and retail at £75. At the moment there is currently an offer on them so you can buy a pair for £35. Natty Me offer free returns but no one has ever returned a pair!
