For today’s post I thought I would give you a bit of a glimpse into my day to day life. I was going to attempt to vlog but I still have zero idea about editing and I forgot until lunch time so it was a bit of a failure. I still can’t decide whether to give it a go or not, so I would love to know what you think.
7:30am
I’m up a bit later today than I would normally be. I tend to get all my work done at the start of the week so that Fridays can normally be spent on the blog so I thought I would have a mini lay in. I grabbed a quick shower and straightened my hair as I washed it last night and just left looking wild. I’m off to Cambridge today for a facial so I’m not going to bother putting any makeup on. Time for a quick cup of tea and crumpets for breakfast.
8:30am
Even though I don’t really have to do any work today I do need to go through my emails. I also do my main invoicing on the last Friday of the month.
10am
Time to leave for Cambridge as I never know how long it will take me to get into the city. As it happened it was a good 45 minutes because of roadworks near the Newmarket Road Park and Ride. I always drive straight into the city and park at the Grand Arcade just because I find it quicker and easier.
10.45am
I was probably cutting it a bit fine but when I was in Cambridge on Sunday I spotted the perfect jumper in Karen Millen and I have been thinking about it ever since. I raced in, grabbed it, tried it on, paid and was still in time for my facial with three minutes to spare.
11am
Time for my facial at Origins on Rose Crescent. I had a skin consultation and facial which I think should last around 20 minutes but I was there until nearly midday probably because I tend to talk way too much. It was brilliant and my skin feels great and smells amazing. You can read all about it in tomorrow’s blog post.
12.00
Frantically running to the car to be back in Newmarket as I have a delivery coming. I was hoping to meet Alice (The Middle Sister) for a coffee and a catch up before heading home but unfortunately there just wasn’t time.
1pm
It’s taken me nearly an hour to get home which is absolutely ridiculous. Time to grab a quick bit of lunch. Luckily my package hasn’t been delivered while I was out.
2pm
I spent a couple of hours working on blog posts, editing my photos from this morning’s facial and planning my social media for next week.
5.30pm
I’m starving so I’m going to hunt for something to eat for dinner and spend the rest of the evening relaxing and watching Netflix and catching up on Youtube videos.
This sounds like a lovely day! Cambridge centre is lovely isn’t it, much better with the new grande arcade! I hope the rest of your week is as enjoyable!
Much love,
