I have been rubbish when it comes to skincare up until a couple of months ago. I’ve always been lucky and had quite good skin although it is prone to the odd dry patch. I don’t know if it is because I’m getting older but I started thinking that I should be paying more attention to my skincare routine, I don’t want to end up with leathery skin because I never moisturised!
Today I thought that I would share with you the products I am currently using and loving.
Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Remover
I wear lash extensions so when it somes to removing my eye makeup I have to be quite careful. Any micellar water that is oil based is out of the question as it would also remove my lashes. I have used eye makeup removers in the past which have stung my eyes. I get on really well with this remover as it takes off waterproof mascara which I do wear on my bottom lashes and doesn’t make my eyes sore. I also wear contact lenses and any oil based remover actually makes them smeary.
Derma V10 Multi Radiance Cream
I received this cream in a goodie bag from an event I went to ages ago, but I have only just got round to using it. It is suitable for all skin types and is easily absorbed into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. I love the smell of it and it also has SPF 15.
Derma V10 Q10 Innovations Night Cream
Again this cream came in a goodie bag. I hate going to bed with cream on normally as it always feels like I have something on but this night cream is really light while feeling like it is still moisturising my skin.
L’Occitane Rebalancing Face Mask
This mask is amazing, I actually swear by it. I feel like it really rids my skin of impurities leaving it feeling clean and soft
Simple Regeneration Age Resisting Eye Cream
I happened to just randomly pick this up when I was in Boots. I’m glad I gave it a go as it seems to hydrate around my eyes really well and has smoothed the area. I also find that my makeup goes on much easier too if I’ve been using it.
Molton Brown Relaxing Yuan Zhi Body Cream
This has the most delicious smell. I got a little sample years ago from a hotel and have been using it ever since. It makes me feel a bit more luxurious rather than using a regular body lotion.
Crabtree & Evelyn Lily Hand Therapy
I have always suffered with really dry hands but I hate the greasy feeling you get with hand creams. There is nothing worse than moisturising and then trying to pick something up. I always tend to use Crabtree & Evelyn and L’Occitane hand creams as I find they are absorbed well and make my hands noticeably softer.
