Yesterday the Coca Cola lorry visited Bury St Edmunds so I thought I would pop over and get into the festive spirit. Luckily when I got there the town wasn’t too busy, I can’t be doing with crowds! I thought I would show you all what I decided to wear given that it is slightly out of my comfort zone.
I am a jeans fan, I live in them. But, if I am going somewhere a bit more fancy then it has to be tailored trousers and high heels, skirts are out of the question during the day. I think this is because I am quite petite so the cut has to hit exactly the right spot or I drown in material and end up looking shorter. I also can’t wear flat shoes, my feet hate them, and heels aren’t always ideal for everyday wear. However, I saw this skirt in Warehouse and miraculously it fit!
The skirt is still available on the Warehouse website and I chose to pair it with a plain black long sleeve top from H&M, tights, and black suede boots complete with tassels on the zip (I can’t remember where these came from but I think it might have been Amazon). My cosy Fazane Malik Rochelle Black Faux Fur Gilet was also a must.
At the end of this week I am posting My Week in Photos which will feature a few from my day out as well as what else I have been up to.
I love this look! your skirt is so cool 🙂
