I don’t know about you but I always want to know where to head to to find the perfect clothes, shoes, and accessories. With this in mind I have added the ‘Where to buy’ series to my blog featuring the best places to shop covering Cambridge, Newmarket, and Bury St Edmunds.
This chilly weather has really made me consider my outerwear. The first stop in my quest for the best coat is of course Boudoir Femme.

Boudoir Femme is probably my favourite boutique in Cambridge. Located on King’s Street, Boudoir Femme has everything from clothes and lingerie to accessories and perfume. Nearing its 10 year anniversary the store is an award winner that centres around elegant style and luxury fabrics. The Ganni Libery St Faux Fur Coat is to die for and I actually think owning this coat would complete my wardrobe (and life)!
Heading online we come to Five Six Blue Boutique who are a relatively new find for me.

When I attended the Velvet Magazine Fashion Show back in September Five Six Blue Boutique were part of the pop up. I love Scandi style from fashion to interiors which is why Five Six Blue is a hit with me. Their Scandi inspired luxury pieces form part of a hand picked capsule collection that is perfect for dressing up or down. I saw the Minimum DK Merte Coat on the catwalk at the Velvet Show and love its oversized style, perfect for pairing with skinny jeans and boots.
Bury St Edmunds is home to Anna which is probably my favourite indie womenswear retailer in the town. Found on Hatter Street Anna is actually one of the biggest, most successful independent womenswear retailers in the UK with multiple store in East Anglia and London.

What I love about Anna is that you will find something whatever your age, there really is something for everyone whether your style is classic elegance or this seasons trends. I absolutely love the Femme coat by Michele Rossi. The military style is so flattering and tartan is always a winner!
Have you shopped with any of these indie stores? I would love to know what you think of their ranges.
