Back in October 2013 I featured Gymluxe who had just launched their high performance gym wear two months before. You can take a look at the piece here. Two years on they have just launched their third collection so I decided to take a look at how far they have come. I own outfits from both the launch and Deco collections so you can already call be a fan, but how does the new Geo collection match up.
I chose the Geo Bra with its sleek racer back which provides the wearer with medium support. Made from compression fabric it features triple lining on the front of the bra. The high performance fabric wicks away sweat and has quick drying abilities.
The bra is paired with the Geo vest featuring a deep V font and a low V back to elongate your body (I definitely need this). The strap design to the back shows off the bra underneath for a great layered look.
You also get the option of either the Geo 7/8 Pant which is cropped or the Geo leggings which I went for. Similar to the Diamond Cut leggings, which I also own, the Geo leggings are made from improved high performance fabric and provide sweat wicking, compression, and fast drying abilities. The thick anti roll elastic that is used at the waist band should stop the leggings falling down while the sleek inner panel provides coverage when squatting.
The Geo collection has my favourite look so far with the colour blocking design giving it a stylish, modern edge. It is also easy to pair with pieces you already own if you fancy switching up your look.
Performance wise I need gym wear that can multi task and be suitable for a range of workouts. I do spend a lot of my time running and need to step this up again now that I will be doing the Cambridge Half Marathon in February. I also do body weight training so I need to have confidence that my outfit provides coverage while allowing me to move freely. Each piece is comfortable to wear and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design. There are no uncomfortable seams and the material doesn’t bag. When it comes to sizing I went for a small but in hindsight I probably should have gone for extra small as I prefer a more snug fit.
If you only buy one piece from Gymluxe make it the leggings as I believe that you won’t find better elsewhere, and I have worn many different brands over the years! Do you own anything from Gymluxe? I would love to know what you think!
Love the bra! May need to get me one of those for my Jazzercise classes!
