If you are in London this Monday 12th October then get yourself over to London College of Fashion for the Fashion Bloc Fashion Comes From Eastern Europe showcase.
This event celebrates the Fashion Bloc UK Launch and gives you the chance to see the best fashion designs that Central and Eastern Europe has to offer.
“Fashion Bloc is a virtual gallery where you can meet, explore and buy designer fashion learning about the origin, ideology and history of each designer and their products. Fashion Bloc is much more than a shopping destination. Come by and explore fashion and culture news, discover and follow our bloggers and travel the country of your favourite designer.”
Guests are invited to take part in a fashion panel discussion which is moderated by i-D’s Bojana Kozarevic and co-hosted by Fashion Bloc founder Ieva Zu. The panel features London based Ukrainian fashion designer Natasha Zinto, Not-Just-A-Label founder Stefan Siegel, journalist Anastasiia Fedorova, and Fashion Bloc designers. The panelists are there to answer any questions on diversity in the European fashion scene. After this there will be a ‘live’ fashion showcase which is not to be missed.
Doors open at 4pm, the panel discussion begins at 6pm, and the ‘live’ exhibition takes place at 7pm. Don’t forget to book your free ticket! It sounds like it ill be a great evening and definitely worth a visit, particularly if you are a fashion student.
