30 Before 30 Update 1

It has been just over three months since I turned 29 so I thought it would be a good idea to look back and see how I am progressing through the list. It works out that I should have completed roughly 7 1/2 of the 30 points.

What I have come to realise with some of my aims is that they are quite open ended so I have to keep up with them.

So far I have completed six aims (or are regularly keeping up with them). The first was to attend a bloggers meetup/ networking event. I went to the fabulous #CambMeetUp (you can read about it her) which was a great opportunity to meet like minded people. The second was renewing my passport which expired last year but as I had no plans to go away I didn’t do anything about it. One of my 30 before 30 aims is to visit Paris so this is the first step to getting there!

I have been working on other aims, one of which is to spend more time on my blog. This is going well and I have various posts in the pipeline – I could still blog more regularly though! I have also been doing the 30 day challenges like squat and plank and have now moved on to lunge and push up. I have actually really noticed a difference particularly with my thighs being more toned so I am going to persevere. Another quite open ended aim is to take saving money more seriously and so far I have managed to regularly save each month so hopefully I can keep this up.

Last month I also entered the London Marathon Ballot, I have been meaning to do this for years which is why it made it onto the list. I won’t find out if I have a place until October so keep your fingers crossed!

My next update will be at the six month mark and hopefully I will be even further ahead. Are you working on your 30 before 30? I would love to know how you are getting on!
