Brand Review – Kristina Goes West.

KRISTINA GOES WEST is the first online boutique to deliver high-end fashion from Nordic – Baltic region designers, offering limited edition pret-a-porter and bespoke womenswear and accessories. All of the designers are successful in their own countries but have become more well known around the world after being spotted by names such as: John Rocha, Matthew Williamson, Mary Katrantzou and many more.

When shopping the  online boutique you can either choose from a hand-picked selection of pret-a-porter or bespoke collections that will be ordered directly from the designers. Pieces can even be specially produced for you. Kristina Goes West was established in 2011 and was recognised at London Fashion Weekend in 2012. The brand went on to be selected from 800+ applicants in 2013 to showcase its hand-picked designer selections at two Pop-Up Britain shops: London Victoria and King’s Road, Chelsea.

‘The idea to launch an online boutique was born whilst watching people in a Brick Lane café. I was talking to a friend, who is a leading personal stylist in London. We both noticed that every time we bought a garment or accessory from one of the Nordic-Baltic countries, people kept asking where they were from. At the time, there were no garments like this in the UK and I decided to launch an online boutique to bring something new and exciting to the British market.’ – Kristina Armonaite, Founder and Managing Director of Kristina Goes West.

KGW_3WindKnots_Artdeco bag_bigAll of the images I have included in this post are some of my favourite pieces from the website. I love nothing more than owning items of clothing and accessories that no one else has. It is also important to me that pieces are ethically sourced and produced, which is another reason why I am a huge fan of Kristina Goes West. If there is one piece that I must have, it is definitely the bag above. I love quilted bags and like the contrast between the floral pattern and the silver chain. I think I shall be asking Santa for this too!

I strongly recommend you take a look around the website yourself and I guarantee you will fall in love with it, as I have! I would really like to hear your verdict so leave a comment below or tweet me!
