Top 5 Crimes Against Fashion.

I was reading an article (I can’t remember where I saw it now-useless I know) that was all about a survey which had been carried out to determine what society sees as ‘crimes against fashion’. I then started to think what looks I classed as so horrific they should be banned.

Here are my 5 Crimes Against Fashion.

1. Wearing clothes too small for you.

Why can’t we just accept what size we are? Squeezing into jeans two sizes too small just so you can say you are a size 10 or 12 is not a good look. You will look much slimmer if you buy properly fitting clothes!

2. Socks with sandals.

To be honest, I don’t think this really needs any explanation, all I can say is…..why??

3. Head to toe animal print.

The same goes for head to toe Burberry. Yes all the components of your outfit match but it is not fancy dress!

4. Uggs

I’m not sure where to start. It’s not that I have something against the style of them as such, after all I own EMU boots which many will argue is the same thing. The thing I don’t like about Uggs is that the shoe gradually collapses with wear so you look as though you are walking on the ankles. I realise they are an easy boot to throw on and are warm for winter, but what I think should be banned is wearing them in the summer with a skirt!

5. Leggings worn as trousers.

Leggings should be worn with a long top, they are not trousers!
