On Friday myself and Natalie (who I intern with for Cambridge Style Week) were lucky enough to take a look behind the scenes of the Oxjam Cambridge photoshoot.
For those of you that do not know, Oxjam is a music event which is happening nationwide throughout October, bringing people together in aid of Oxfam and the fight against poverty.

On Tuesday 1st October I will also be at the main event that is to be held at the Hidden Rooms in Cambridge which will see live music from acts such as Adam Double, DJ Gareth Andrews, Shooting Suns, Mark Ellis and more!

Downing College provided a stunning backdrop for the shoot. The organisers had previously visitied one of Cambridge’s Oxfam stores and selected a rail of pieces for the models to choose from. The idea was to photograph Oxfam clothes as if they were a collection in their own right……genius! All of the models (Stephanie Baudino, Amy Peachey, Latifah Rainey and Megan Borg) were able to select and style the outfits themselves, letting their own personalities shine through in each shot.

For more information on the event check out Oxjam Cambridge on Facebook and Twitter. Tickets are still available in advance for £4 from wegottickets or are £5 at the door on the night.

Don’t forget to check out the brilliant final images all shot by the amazing Tim Steele. I hope to see you all there!
