High Street Fashion Week Presents The Holiday Boutique.

THBlogo

The Holiday Boutique was created in 2012 and launched in 2013! It is aimed at women who want to buy unique and fashion-lead sun-styles outside the present restricted seasonal high street calendar.

THB’s aim is to source beautiful pieces that celebrate all body types, allowing you to look as fabulous on the outside as you feel on the inside. Their swimwear and cover ups are intended to take you from the beach to the bar with the THB team travelling the world for sun-style inspiration, from Miami to Ibiza and the Caribbean, pool parties to lounging on a yacht. THB’s pieces will allow you to stand out from the crowd. As well as bikinis and one piece’s they also have a range of cover ups, eye wear, body jewellery and head pieces, footwear and other holiday extras. Make a statement on the beach without saying a word!

What inspired you to start up the brand?

I regularly travel – I love HOLIDAYS! Especially in the winter months, I
love walking on the beach or climbing up the steps of a temple in 30 degree
heat in DECEMBER, for years I have struggled to shop for holiday pieces,
from September to December shops are full of Christmas trees and turkeys,
not bikinis, kaftans’ and flip flops. So one sunny day during DECEMBER (I
like December) in Kho Phi Phi Thailand, I was floating on a pink Lilo and
said let’s do this, another factor was that earlier on that day a lady was
wearing the same bikini as me, even though we were 12 hours from the UK!

How would you describe your style?

Classic and smart for the day job, tailored trousers, blazers and a scarf.
Relaxed and sometimes urban on the weekend, I have 3 Chihuahua’s and we
spend a lot of time in the woods, My regency Hunter boots have been a God
send! For a night out, sometimes I will choose VERY Loud, bold Prints, Midi
Dresses teamed with a pair of Louboutin’s (my shoe of choice – although at
5’10 there is not too much choice) you cannot go wrong.

How important to you is it that pieces are unique?

I think unique pieces are super important! Every girl wants to feel a little
extra special! Why should that special feeling be left to the night club or
bar! Let’s extend it to the BEACH!!

Which designers do you admire?

Christian Louboutin, the shoes he creates are just pure art, ok a lot of
pain too, but I find it hard to fault a pair of his shoes. Clothing wise I
love Herve Leger, He started a huge trend and I had the pleasure of meeting
the CEO recently who I was mesmerised by 🙂 Sadly Herve’s pricing is a
little too high.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

Wow that is a tough, tough question……….. I honestly cannot give a ONE
place answer, I LOVE Dubai, I have travelled there quite a lot in the last
few years, I love Thailand, and have also ventured there and travelled
around a few times, but then I love the Maldives? Along with Barbados. The
place I have visited most would be Ibiza and Marbella, probably Ibiza….
Does that mean it is my favourite? Ibiza?

What is your must have holiday item?

Easy! Sunglasses, Big massive ones! When hot and sweaty from sun bathing and
or a little mangled from the night before, throw on some over sized shades
and there you have it, instant glamour!

What is particularly special about your Statement Range?

The statement range is special because the client creates it! You choose
your colour, font and type face, you create your piece! It is an instant
reflection of yourself! Make a statement without saying a word.

How did you get involved with HSFW?

I got involved with HSFW via sHe London PR, they informed me about the event
and instantly I knew we had to be a part of it.

How is preparation going?

So far so good! Ask me again in a week!

What are you looking forward to most about attending?

The Brands! Meeting other up and coming brands and designers, seeing what is
new for spring/summer and having a little shop myself! Not forgetting meeting all the lovely bloggers. THB have received lots of support from you all x
